If you are attending one of our Creative courses, why not enjoy a couple of days relaxing on our family farm in the Lake District. It is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful retreat. The perfect place to relax and be inspired by the variety of flora & fauna as well as the dramatic landscape. On clear nights the sky sparkles with stars. You can enjoy a truly off-grid experience with no Wi-Fi to disturb your peace and just stroll up to your art and craft course as part of a relaxing weekend or holiday.
Our camping pods offer a fantastic, cosy alternative to camping. With the luxury of a double and sofa bed with bedlinen provided, your own en-suite toilet/shower, microwave and fridge, the pods are ideal for couples and families. Each pod sleeps up to 4 and has your own private parking space nearby.
We are 2 miles from the thriving village of Staveley, along a quiet country road, with cafes, coffee shops, a friendly pub, chippy, post office, chemist, butcher, general store and gift shop. The farm is 500 acres in the Lake District National Park. We work closely with Natural England under a Higher Level Stewardship to deliver responsible, environmental farming.

As a family friendly site we do not accept hen or stag parties.
We can NOT accept any bookings for more than two pods together in 2021. With uncertainty over ongoing Covid restrictions we have decided that we will not take larger groups this year. We apologise for having to enforce this but would like everyone visiting and living on the farm to feel as safe as possible. Bookings for groups (friends or families) made under different individual names will be treated as a group booking & will be null & void
Days available for Pod Bookings
March to end of June availability from Mon - Thurs (3 nights) and Fri-Sun (2 nights). This is to allow for a 24 hours gap between visitors.
July & Aug: Fri - Mon (3 nights) and Mon - Fri (4 nights). Sept and Oct check in days are Mon & Fri.

We have been awarded the 'Good to Go' Industry Standard mark that means our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Covid and Refunds
If we have to cancel your holiday due to Cumbria going into an enforced Lockdown, we will offer you alternative dates or a full refund minus a small admin. fee. This will also apply if you are unable to take up your holiday due to an enforced lock-down in your area. Unfortunately we are unable to refund any booking fees taken by an agent. You will need to contact Cool Camping, Glampingly or Pitch up in regards their commission. They have indicated that they will not give refunds
